The LiuGong 4180D features a frame with an increased front wheel steering angle (up to ±50°), while the frame articulation angle is ±27°. The motor grader can now operate in more confined spaces, thanks to a reduced turning radius of 7.2 m.
Increased ground clearance: 60 cm
The LiuGong 4180D motor grader is equipped with a new pentagonal cab (previously a hexagonal one). By reducing the number of columns, the operator's visibility is improved. The driver now has a clear view of the center blade and front wheels. It's also worth noting that the cab is equipped with a new tilt steering column and a comfortable, multi-adjustable seat. Whereas the fuel and oil fillers were previously located on the hood, servicing and refueling are now performed from ground level. Access to key components and assemblies has also been improved. The wider hood now opens automatically using an electro-hydraulic drive (previously, the engine compartment lid consisted of two parts and had to be opened manually in opposite directions). The fuel tank capacity is 348 liters, and the hydraulic fluid tank holds 165 liters.
