The grader is equipped with a Cummins QSL9.3 engine with a turbocharger and an air-to-air intercooler
air-to-air intercooler. The LiuGong 4230D's standard configuration includes hydrostatic front-wheel drive, a reinforced tandem axle, and a rear counterweight for increased traction.
The grader operator has a 324-degree panoramic view. The machine is standardly equipped with a long, 3960 mm (155 in) mid-blade. Four additional blade types with impact protection are available. A mechanical lock allows the operator to quickly and easily lock the desired working tool position from the cab. A dozer or snow blade is also available as an option. A new development from the manufacturer is a side grader blade, which allows work to be performed behind a barrier installed along the roadway. A leveling system using ultrasonic sensors is also available as an option for LiuGong motor graders.
